We Can Do It!

We can do it

Do not be afraid to be told this or read about it or know about it or remember it. For it’s the truth that we cannot compromise if we are really for Christ: Galatians 5:19-21. The last part of these verses scares a lot, and I quote, “Those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.” The whole passage reveals to us that Apostle Paul wasn’t talking to non-believer, but he was talking direct to those who have believed in Christ and accepted Him as their Savior and still doing what they have denounced. Christ has come that we leave behind us the life that we used to live and live a New Life which is Spirit driven. A life of love, joy, peace, longsuffering/patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. When we escape from that sinful life to a Christ-like life, He forgives us all the sins that we have committed with a gift of “no condemnation” plus a recommendation. Remember the woman who was caught in adultery, this was Christ’s conversation with her:
#Jesus: “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
#Woman: “No one, Lord.”
#Jesus: “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

Brothers and sisters, it’s not too late for us to take a step and revisit our lives to see where we’ve gone astray and cry out to the Lord to forgive us. For it’s written, “Bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.”

God can surely forgive us what we have done wrong if we go to Him and ask for forgiveness. God loves you, dear!
