God’s children extend love”

My enemies deserve love

There is nothing impossible that God has commanded us to do that we cannot do, even loving our enemies. The only way evil is overcome – is doing what pleases God. Keeping pride, hatred, and anger aside is the best way to go which even yields a reward for anyone who does the will of God. And God’s will is that you “love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you”.

He says in Proverbs 25:21-22 that, “If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord will reward you.”

Our heavenly Father works in love even to those we consider as “not deserving”. He cares for them, so we’ve to love them instead and pray for them that they may see the Light that’s come into the world to set man free from darkness. They need to see Jesus, which is Love, and not hatred. Even at the point of death, Jesus never held those who tortured and hanged him, guilty. He couldn’t deny who He is and the purpose for which He came, He offered them love instead and prayed for them saying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

God’s children extend love. For love endures through every circumstance and it never fails.
