I am God’s first priority”

We both labor and suffer reproach

God saves all people but as God’s chosen children abiding in His Beloved Son Jesus Christ, we are His first priority. Do you know why? We don’t only have hope in the Lord but we also believe and have our trust in Him. We are special children that God has already set apart, engraved in the palms of His hands, beholding and taking care of us every bit of our lives – Isaiah 49:16 says, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.”

The world’s view of us may not be all that pleasing but thank God that:

  1. He accepts us just as we are. [Luke 5:32, 1 Timothy 1:15]

Luke 5:32 “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

1 Timothy 1:15 “This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.”

  1. He cleanses us in the precious blood of His Son Jesus. [Isaiah 1:18, 1 Corinthians 6:11, Revelation 1:5]

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord“though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

1 Corinthians 6:11 “And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”

Revelation 1:5 “From Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood”

  1. He records our names in the book of life. [Luke 10:20, Philippians 4:3]

Luke 10:20 “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

Philippians 4:3 “And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.”

  1. And He gives us the right to become God’s children. [John 1:12, Galatians 3:26]

John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”

Galatians 3:26 “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”

No matter what challenges come our way, we have already won the battle because we are Dad’s first priority of all people. Our hope is in Him, we trust and believe in Him.

Jesus Is Lord!
