Kill “the fear of facing tomorrow” and let “faith have its way today”. Why?
- Tomorrow won’t be the same as today.
*So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)
- God gives us sufficient grace for today, not “and tomorrow”.
*Give us this day our daily bread. (Matthew 6:11)
*Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it for tomorrow.” But some of them did not listen to Moses and saved part of it. The next morning it was full of worms and smelled rotten, and Moses was angry with them. Every morning each one gathered as much as he needed; and when the sun grew hot, what was left on the ground melted. (Exodus 16:19-21)
- God’s mercies are new every morning.
*The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Face “today” knowing that you are not alone. And though it may look like you’re alone, that isn’t true.
(John 14:16-17) The Helper – the Holy Spirit is with us forever to guide us through every task, every challenge that may come our way.
Live each day at a time. “This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24) Do not let tomorrow’s worries interfere with today’s God’s free gift of grace and mercies. The Lord has made it, so let’s rejoice and be glad in it.
God Loves You!
