Live, to love”

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”

Let love and faithfulness never leave you

What a wonderful world would be if we just “wholly” embraced love and be faithful to God and to one another! Love is a great and strong weapon that can demolish [put to an end] every act that’s sponsored by the devil. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Apostle Paul gives us a summary of the attributes of love:
1. Love is patient.
2. Love is kind.
3. Love does not envy.
4. Love does not boast.
5. Love is not proud.
6. Love does not dishonor others.
7. Love is not self-seeking.
8. Love is not easily angered.
9. Love keeps no record of wrongs.
10. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
11. Love always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres.
12. Love never fails.

Wow! What a revelation!

Does the bible say “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son”? Oh yes [John 3:16], actually not just giving, but God sacrificed His Son for the world. Jesus died for all of us to live not that we loved Him that we could boast of our love for Him, God loved us. 1 John 4:10 says, “This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” It’s love that took Christ to the Cross. That was God’s perfect WILL that through love, you and I could get saved from eternal destruction.

Where in the world could we find such a God that after all what we have done, He could have pity on us and send His Begotten Son, Jesus, to die for the sins He never committed? This is unconditional love!

God wants us to love one another without pretense. Be there for one another in all circumstances. He wants us to imitate what He is, and live in harmony. The Scripture says, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8)

Let us love one another, value one another, and live in a peaceful world. We have one “life” to live – so it would be very silly of us to waste it. Live in Love!

Jesus Is Lord!
