Bless as much as possible!

You are blessed to bless

“In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.” [Romans 12:6-8]

We all have what it takes to be a blessing to the people around us and beyond. Even the much least things that we don’t consider as of help to others, God can surely use them to bring a smile into one’s life. We do not have underestimate whatever ability God has given us. God cannot and can never make such mistake to give us what’s not of value. Therefore, if He has blessed you with a gift of prophesying – tell the truth, serving others – do it well, teaching – teach well, if it’s lifting up others – be encouraging, if it’s giving – do it generously, leading others – lead them responsibly, and if you are blessed with a gift of showing kindness – do it cheerfully.

There’s nothing God has blessed us with just to be a waste. For every gift He’s given, He’s also given the ability to do it. 1 Peter 4:10-11 says, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

“Dear God, help us to identify the gifts You have blessed us with and also help us to use them to the glory of Your name.”
