God, the peace maker”

When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

When a man_s ways please the Lord

Our God is really good. I can’t imagine how many furious enemies, death threats, traps, and all the likes He has settled behind the scene just to make sure that we are safe and not harmed in any way. The enemy has no other mission other than stealing all that matter in our lives – his joy is in the torture, death, and destruction of his victims. But thanks be to the Father who sees beyond what we see, who knows beyond what we know, whose wisdom is without beginning and end, He who credits His children as He pleases. He is always there to defend us. He says, “I AM with you ALWAYS, even to the end of the age.” [Matthew 28:20]

We have all experienced God’s tenderness in the way He handles pressing situations in our lives in one way or the other. We have seen victories which are beyond our imagination – and with a “strong calm breath” – the only statement we utter is, “This has been God.” True! God monitors everything we do with our lives and our reward is in what we do in faith to please Him and not in what we do to please man. He delights in those who faithfully seek Him, those who fear Him with respect, and with reverence. Psalm 147:11 says, “The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.”

God is the rewarder of those who hold onto the path of righteousness no matter what circumstances surround their faith. We see Daniel and his company refuse to eat the food which the king ordered – be given to them despite the fact that it was the most delicious meal – they knew it was food with other gods attached and chose not to defile themselves and sin against the Holy God. God favored them and caused the official to consider their plea and overturned the order of the king. [Daniel 1]

Joseph, had all the opportunities of taking advantage of his master’s wife but his reverence for the Lord could not let him succumb to the pleasure and desires of the flesh. What the enemy meant for harm, ended up in greatness – even in the prison, God was with him, He exalted him before his very enemies. “The Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” Genesis 39:21” Joseph chose to do what pleases his God and not what pleases his master’s wife.

With our lives, let’s always choose to please God who prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Psalm 23:5 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”

God is with us ALWAYS, even to the end of the age.

God Is Good!
