God thinks well of me”

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts

Many times, I have heard people say, “God has forgotten me, God has abandoned me.” And little do they ask, “who woke me up this morning, whose breath am I taking in?”

For sure, to be alive today simply means God is not yet done with us here in this world. God has a good plan and thought toward each and every one of us. God loves and cares for each and every one of us.

Does it mean God didn’t care for those who are ‘late’ now? No, God cares in every situation. What does Prophet Isaiah say in 57:1, “Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.”

And even if it is an evil person, still God does not rejoice in his death. “As I live! declares the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live.” [Ezekiel 33:11]

God is never wrong in His thoughts toward us because His thoughts are Righteous, Holy, and Pure and we simply imitate what God is – because we are His beloved children. His thoughts are of peace and not of evil, to give us a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

God never ceases to think of us. He is always there to put things in order around us and to provide for all our needs. Every moment of our lives is before Him. How precious are His thoughts toward us! Psalm 139:16-17 “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!”

God’s ways are not our ways, we are limited and God is not limited in any way. He knows the end of everything from the beginning, therefore, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” [Philippians 4:6-7]

Jesus Is Lord!
