To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.
Friends fall apart, marriages collapse and break, parents denounce their own children, and children disown their parents because of their differences but our loving Father, God can never stop loving us no matter what we do. We can’t count how many times we have sinned with or without our knowledge, countless times we have turned our back on the Lord, but still He covers us up in His mercies. “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” [1 John 4:10]
No person can ever outrun God’s love for you and me.
God’s mercies know no boundaries and no one is outside His mercies. He gives light and rain to both the good and the wicked. Matthew 5:45 “… For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”
God’s arms are ever wide-open to receive and embrace those that call on His name. He loves to see His children live at peace with Him. He says, “I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against Me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against Me.” [Jeremiah 33:8]
He has reconciled us to Himself through the precious blood of His Beloved Son, our Lord, Jesus. Let’s fall into the hands of God where there is mercy and sufficient grace to help us in times of need. “David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.” [2 Samuel 24:14]
To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, let us always run to Him.
Jesus Is Lord!
