How do you perceive God in your need?

Despite the fact that we know that there is nothing God cannot do, nothing impossible before Him – we are sometimes hit by the waves of fear that He won’t do what He has promised to do for those who wait upon the Lord. Fear starts to crawl in when we give in to the “false evidences” surrounding our lives and our faith starts to fade away. But against all natural evidences of barrenness and her age, Sarah believed God that He will fulfill His promise. And just at the right time, God filled her heart with gladness. “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.” [Genesis 21:6]

God is a promise keeper. “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” [2 Timothy 2:13] He simply can’t tell a lie to His children as man does. God despises every sort of distress the devil imposes on His children. He won’t abandon us because He knows that the pathway to our promises is Faith. Hebrews 11:6

He has given us His Beloved Son, Jesus – whatsoever we pray and believe that it will happen, it will surely happen just at the right time. Jesus is able to help our faith grow deep in the Father because He the Author and Finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2

God will never forsake you. He is right there by your side listening to you and watching over you. The One who made it possible for Sarah at her later age will surely make it for you in your pressing need. He simply can’t forget us because His Son, Jesus, made a home in us.

Jesus Is Lord!
