My wealth and life aren’t in possessions but in Christ.

Greed is one the widest doors of sins which have pushed us far from the plans that God has for each and every one of us. We want things to be done our own way and not God’s way. We spend much time looking for profiting deals rather that looking to the profit giver. King Solomon advices us to commit our plans to the Lord, for it’s only He that can establish whatever we do and make it last. He says, [Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. Proverbs 16:3]

We must be very careful and guard our hearts and minds against greed. We must practice contentment, find satisfaction in what God has blessed us with, and thank Him as we share with others. He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. See Hebrews 13:5, [Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”]

The one thing we must let drive our lives is to believe that God cares for us every moment and in every situation or state. He knows our lives from the beginning to the end. And He has ONLY good plans for ALL of us. Only when we understand this and make it part of our breath, then we shall move with our heads raised high because we know He is here right now, working on our needs, and He is already there taking care of our needs today, tomorrow, and forever. God loves it when we wholly depend on Him.  Proverbs 3:5-6 says, [Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.]
